Illness Policy
We are committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and infection-free healthcare environment for all patients and staff. Our procedures follow guidance from the UK Government and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
To help protect everyone:

If you develop symptoms of a cold, flu, general illness, or Covid‑19, please do not attend the clinic during the first 3–5 days of symptoms (depending on severity).

If you remain very unwell or have ongoing symptoms such as active coughing or sneezing, please delay your appointment further until you have improved.

If you are recovering from illness and need to attend your appointment, you are required to wear a face mask to protect others. Masks are available free of charge at the clinic.

If you have experienced a sickness bug (vomiting or diarrhoea), please wait until you have been symptom-free for at least 48 hours before attending.

What we are doing?

All of our clinicians are fully trained healthcare professionals and already adhere to strict infection control standards. We regularly review and updated our policies in line with current general illness and Covid-19 guidance.

All equipment, including treatment couches, card payment machines, and Pilates/exercise equipment, is thoroughly disinfected after every client.

Hand washing facilities are available in each clinic room, including a sink with antibacterial soap and hand sanitiser. These are used between every client, and patients will be asked to use hand sanitiser on entering the room.

Staff have access to medical-grade disposable face masks. If you would prefer your clinician to wear a face mask during your appointment, please feel free to ask.

While every effort is made to minimise the risk of exposure to illness during your visit, we cannot guarantee that the risk of transmission is completely eliminated.​
