An exercise programme is often vital for returning to normal activities or sports after illness, injury or surgery.  Rehabilitation and strength training within physiotherapy can help to improve movement and flexibility and increase strength.  This can assist in reducing pain levels in both the short term and the long term.

Exercise programmes will be individually created to suit your specific needs, time constraints and overall goals.  Exercises will be altered and adapted as you progress through your recovery to ensure you achieve the movement and strength that you are aiming for and to help prevent any recurrence.  Even five minutes a day can make a difference so do not be put off by thinking you will need to give up hours of your free time.
