Clinical Pilates
Pilates is a fantastic way to help you improve posture and flexibility.  It also helps to increase general strength and core stability, which leads to better balance and control of movement.  Clinical Pilates can be a great way to safely return to exercise after suffering from an illness or injury, or after undergoing surgery.

Physiotherapists have in-depth knowledge of how the body moves, functions and how injuries recover.  Integrating Pilates into physiotherapy treatment can assist in the recovery of numerous conditions.  All Pilates exercises will be modified and adapted to individually suit your needs, time constraints, goals and fitness level.

Pilates is also an effective way of exercising both during pregnancy and during the postnatal period.  During pregnancy an adapted Pilates programme helps to maintain strength, flexibility and support your bump whilst your baby grows.  You tend to recover faster after your baby is born if you manage to maintain some fitness during pregnancy.  Post-birth, Pilates helps to safely guide you back into exercise again and allows you to start strengthening your pelvic floor and abdominals, which tend to be weaker after pregnancy.

Clinical Pilates is offered by Elizabeth Watson.
